Privacy and Protection of Personal Information

Accountability:
Galt Western Personnel Ltd. takes responsibility for the personal information under its control and intends to comply with the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (the "Act"). Please contact our President, Leslie Meingast, with any privacy related inquiry.

Purpose:
The data we collect is used merely for enabling communication between the company and the individual.
Data about preferences and abilities and history are unidentifiable and are used only for the purpose of establishing possibility of mutual benefit relationships. Prior to any information being revealed for the purposes of arranging job interviews the party involved will be contacted to gain their approval to release information.

Consent:
Candidates seeking positions grant the company the right to use the data they supply in an unidentifiable manner with the view to creating opportunities for them and their peers.
Any person requesting their data to be removed will be complied with.
Users of the sites services grant the company the right to use their volunteered data (name, address, payment information, shipping information, fax, phone, email address) for the purpose of completing the transactions. This information is available only for the completion of the transaction. The information may be examined by legally constituted oversight organizations such as Tax Auditors.

Limited collection:
Galt Western's technology does NOT use cookies or web bugs to monitor users. Galt Western does not allow any market researchers or wholesale advertiser services access to its sites or to any collection of data.
Galt Western collects in the course of the provision of our services a person's: e-mail address, name, geographic address, and means of contact - phone or fax number. In Personnel Services, a person's background is also required information.
In Personnel Services, the recruiting or the placement of individuals Galt Western DOES NOT require ANY candidate or job seeker to pay ANY money at ANYTIME. Galt Western is paid by the client corporation requesting the recruiting services of Galt Western.
If any person at Galt Western requests money of you as a candidate or job seeker please report the matter immediately to the President.

Limited Use, Disclosure and Retention:
Data is retained for 7 years as required by law.
There is no registration or sign on required to use or access any service site. Data is only collected when a product sale is actually requested or when a candidate has chosen to include their information to the Resume Data System after being informed about its capabilities. The candidate's data is separated from their name and address to guard their privacy. The job history does not reveal the employing company as a further safeguard. That information is only ever revealed if and when the candidate agrees to such release to a specific employer.
Information is only stored for internal record management and legal compliance. Auditors, Tax Auditors, Worker Compensation Auditors may have access to this data in their regular oversight duties relating to our firm. They may look and read but not remove any information.

Accuracy:
The company periodically audits the files for accuracy by contacting the individual involved. Anyone may contact the Privacy Officer to verify or update their personal information.

Safeguards:
Every precaution is taken to ensure that data is safeguarded as best as possible.

Openness:
Our privacy policy is strict. Security is in place to prevent unauthorized access. Please contact the Privacy Officer for more information about Policy or related matters.

System Access:
Any person may inquire about the information on their file. They do so by contacting the manager of the location or the Customer relations' manager.

Compliance:
In addition to all the normal remedies, www.QFS360.com is a quality feedback system that makes it easy for any person to communicate in absolute privacy with the CEO of the company, bypassing all staff, if they so desire.
The CEO then activates the necessary resources and processes through the MIS Manager or the Manager RD&I.

Participation is a privilege:
Participation in this program is a privilege. This is an employer only site.
Program members rely on each other to provide accurate and comprehensive information.
Participants mis-using this site shall be denied access.

Liability:
Members participating in this program use the data from the program without recourse to the host of the program who is The Personnel Department.
Specific Compensation consulting may be requested by contacting The Personnel Department directly.

Endorsement:
Information is provided by the participating employer community at large.
It is not necessary to be a client of The Personnel Department to be a program participant.
Data is updated daily with each participant’s new entries. The site uses a rolling 12 month moving average system to provide participants with up to date information while also trending accurately.

Information Accuracy:
The information on this site is compiled from information submitted by the Program Members, who are employers, corporations and organizations submitting information on a confidential, anonymous basis in exchange for which these participants are enabled to access the resulting communal data for their internal purposes.
The information compiled herein is deemed reliable as participating members serve their purposes best by submitting accurate information.
The calculations applied are accurate to the degree the input information is accurate.
Audits are conducted to locate anomalies that may be entered.
Statistical information sourced from government and other sources deemed reliable is factored into the calculations.
